The Seiko Prospex SLA079J1 is a Marinemaster 1968 Heritage Diver’s Watch that brings classic Seiko dive-watch design into a modern build. Its 42.6mm stainless steel case has a strong, professional look, while the textured black dial creates clear contrast for easy reading. The dual-curved sapphire crystal also features an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface.

Powering the watch is Seiko’s Caliber 8L35 automatic movement with manual winding capability. It offers approximately 50 hours of power reserve and runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The movement also includes a date display and stop-seconds function.

Designed for demanding underwater use, the SLA079J1 provides 300-meter water resistance. A unidirectional rotating bezel, screw-down crown, and screw case back add to its dependable dive-watch construction. LumiBrite on the hands, indexes, and bezel helps maintain visibility in low-light conditions.
