The Seiko Prospex SJE099J1 is a Marinemaster 1965 Heritage Diver’s Watch inspired by Seiko’s first professional dive watch from 1965. Its 39.5mm stainless steel case offers a compact profile, while the blue dial features a textured pattern inspired by the movement of ocean waves. A box-shaped sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating keeps the dial clear and well protected.

Inside, the watch is powered by Seiko’s Caliber 6L37 automatic movement with manual winding. It provides approximately 45 hours of power reserve and operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The movement also includes a stop-seconds function for more precise time setting.

Designed for underwater use, the SJE099J1 offers 200-meter diver’s water resistance. Its unidirectional rotating bezel, screw-down crown, and LumiBrite hands and indexes support easy reading during diving. The see-through and screw case back adds another detail to its mechanical design.
